🎏 Is Iobit Driver Booster Safe Reddit

Driver booster is a scam. Software support. So I installed driver booster 9 a few months ago and now the trial version is over so I'm on the free version. but I was updating drivers on the free version and updated all my laptop keyboard drivers. now nothing works asside from FN and up/down keys (led brightness). so I try to recover drivers and Friend: Nah dude, it's fine, I have IObit, it's pretty good. Me: But it hasn't protected your computer at all. Friend: Alright, let's make a deal. If IObit doesn't find anything, you can fix my computer. So I let IObit scan the computer, and NOTHING came up. It was "safe" in IObit's eyes. After that, I installed Avast and Malwarebytes. There is no doubt that IObit is a controversial software company, but all its products are absolutely safe. None of the products developed or distributed by IObit fall in the category of a computer infecting application. However, the effectiveness of the programs provided by this company is highly questionable. 1. Posted September 15, 2022. Yes. Paid software has shown 5 different "recommended from IOBIT" pop-ups. Super annoying. Have been an iobit customer for at least 6 years. Now Uninstalling on 4 home pcs and 16 workstations at my workplace. Lots of alternatives these days.
